It was during the COVID period, shortly after completing the wildlife documentary for the Discovery Channel, that the world came to a sudden standstill, and so did my own career. I’ve always been fascinated by light; it’s what drew me to the camera in the first place, and over the years I’ve enjoyed working with images and motion while collaborating with directors and production designers across projects. During that pause, I made a conscious decision to step away from what I was doing and fully dedicate myself to learning lighting design for large-scale shows, arena productions, and live events. I’ve long been a fan of concerts and music, and my decision to study at the University of Westminster was inspired, in part, by the fact that Pink Floyd was formed there. Once the uncertainty of the pandemic settled, I moved to Canada to pursue lighting design for live entertainment. In 2024, I graduated with a degree in Theatre Arts Technical Production from Humber, and since then I’ve been working on live shows. The images below reflect my work both as a lighting designer and as a live entertainment photographer.
